What are the benefits of SVAMITVA scheme?
The scheme provides ownership rights over their properties.
Under this scheme, eligible property owners will get property
cards which they can use to avail loans.
The Swamitva scheme ensures robust development of rural areas
through mapping and demarcation of rural properties. The scheme will help
the government to plan infrastructure programs in rural areas.
The use of drone technology and satellite mapping also reduces the
chances of errors in drawing property boundaries.

PM Swamitva Yojana Guidelines PDF Scheme Objectives
The scheme seeks to achieve the following objectives:-
I. To bring financial stability in rural India by enabling citizens

to use their assets as financial assets to avail loans and other financial benefits.
Second. Creation of accurate land records for rural planning.
Third. Assessment of property tax, which will be received directly by the
GP in the states to which it is transferred or otherwise, will be added to the state exchequer.
iv. Survey infrastructure and creation of GIS maps, which can be used by
any department for their use.
V. To support the preparation of a quality Gram Panchayat Development Plan
(GPDP) using GIS maps. vi. To reduce property disputes and legal matters
